Dr. Stephen Diana

Dr. Stephen Diana graduated from the University of Toronto in 1997 after which he completed a dental internship at Toronto General Hospital. He has continued his education in general practice and implant training in Florida, Switzerland, California and Spain under Drs. Daniel Buser, Michael Pikos and Anthony Sclar.  

 

He lectures extensively on the surgical and restorative aspects of implant therapy nationally. He is a mentor to his participants and supports local Study Clubs.  

 

Dr. Diana is a member of the International Congress of Oral Implantology, the Canadian Dental Association and the Toronto Implant Study Club.  He has been in private practice since 1999 in Georgetown, Ontario and operates an Implant Centre in Acton, Ontario.

Implants

Synopsis: This course will review the planning, surgical treatments and restorative aspects of implant surgery and will include a hands-on restorative component with the Ankylos Dental Implant.

- Understanding diagnosis and treatment planning, diagnostic models, digital radiology and CT scans

- Treating single tooth, partially and fully edentulous patients, fixed and removable implant restorations

- Understanding dental implant provisioning: how to, new materials and techniques

- How to set up cases and systems for a successful implants practice
