Dr. Robert A. Lowe has maintained a private dental practice for 26 years and currently works in Charlotte, North Carolina.  Dr. Lowe has helped to pioneer and publish on several laser assisted cosmetic procedures and is a founding member of the World Clinical Laser Institute. He is a clinical evaluator of materials and products for prominent dental manufacturers worldwide and active in the development of new materials and techniques.  He lectures internationally and has published hundreds of articles in well-known dental journals.

 

Dr. Lowe taught Restorative and Rehabilitative Dentistry for 10 years at Loyola University School of Dentistry in Chicago, Illinois and has accumulated and presented hundreds of hours of continuing education hours.  He has as a result, received fellowships from the Academy of General Dentistry, the International College of Dentists, the Academy of Dentistry International, the Pierre Fauchard Academy, the American College of Dentists and the International Academy of Dento-Facial Aesthetics.  He received the 2004 Gordon Christensen Outstanding Lecturers Award at the Chicago Midwinter Meeting and in 2005 awarded Diplomate status on the American Board Of Aesthetic Dentistry, an honor shared by fewer than 50 dentists in the United States.

 

Dr. Lowe graduated magna cum laude from Loyola University School of Dentistry in 1982.  Following graduation, he completed a one year Dental Residency receiving additional expertise in several disciplines including Restorative and Rehabilitative Dentistry, Aesthetic Dentistry, Periodontics, Prosthodontics and Sedation Dentistry, completing a rotation in Surgical Anesthesia.

Synopsis: This course will focus on refining the preparation and impression skills needed to help create consistent quality in aesthetic and restorative cases while maintaining practice profitability. New technologies, such as dental lasers, computerized shade matching and digital impression making will be discussed along with how implementation of these technologies can help a practice’s bottom line.
